What's new in Fade

1.0.1

In review

  • Emails look like emails. Messages now render with the sender's real formatting instead of flattened plain text.
  • Select text and tap links. You can select any text in a message, and links, addresses and phone numbers are tappable.
  • Images stay blocked until you ask. Remote images are a common way senders track when mail is opened, so Fade does not load them by default. Tap Load on any message you trust.
  • Confirmation before you lose an inbox. Deleting a message and getting a new address now ask first, so a stray tap cannot throw away an address and everything in it.
  • Contact Support. A new row in Settings opens a prefilled email to our real, monitored support address.
  • Rate & Review, also in Settings.
  • Inbox previews now use the full width of the row instead of stopping at the first line break.

1.0

10 August 2026

  • First release. A working disposable address the moment you open the app, with automatic verification-code detection and one-tap copy.
  • Push notifications the moment mail arrives.
  • Several inboxes at once, a choice of domains, and attachments you can open and save.
  • Fade Pro: reserved addresses that never expire, a custom address on a Pro domain, and no ads.
