Fade Privacy Policy

Effective 19 July 2026

Fade is a disposable email app. It gives you temporary email addresses that receive mail and then automatically delete it. You do not create an account, and you do not give us your name, phone number, or any personal details. This policy explains what Fade does with information and, more importantly, what it does not do.

Information Fade handles

How the information is used

Only to run the service: to receive and display the mail sent to your temporary address, and to send the notifications you have enabled. Nothing else.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. The only third party involved is Apple's Push Notification service, which delivers notifications if you enable them. Mail arrives from whatever services you choose to give a Fade address to.

Retention

Fade addresses and their messages are ephemeral. Messages are deleted automatically a short time after an address expires. We do not keep long-term copies of your mail.

Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Inbound mail is held only briefly on an access-controlled server before automatic deletion.

Children

Fade is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Every Fade address expires on its own; you can also generate a new one or simply stop using an address at any time. You can turn notifications on or off from the app's Settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we do, the effective date above will change.
